Areas in which fellowships are available

EPSRC's Capability and Challenge Themes have an on-going process to prioritise the areas in which fellowships will be offered. This biannual process is detailed at on-going refresh of fellowship priority areas. Where priorities are removed, we will give six months advance notice in either spring or autumn each year. Important: the October 2016 refresh was delayed to mid-February 2017 to align with the announcement of the Balancing Capability strategy, consequently the areas that are closing will be open for submission until 14th august 2017.

We will not accept applications in areas outside of those identified below. Applicants should refer to the thematic programme priorities for additional details on the research areas we wish to appoint fellows in.
