We welcome input from industry and the public sector in our strategy and planning activities.
- EPSRC Council
Our senior decision-making body. Members are appointed by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and are drawn from academia and industry. Council's membership is reviewed annually.
- Resource Audit Committee
Reviews our administrative effectiveness and reports to Council.
- Strategic Advisory Network
The Strategic Advisory Network provides the EPSRC Executive with strategic advice to assist us to develop, implement and modify plans, and to make appropriate recommendations to our Council.
- Strategic advisory teams
Providing advice to EPSRC on its programmes, including both research and training aspects. There is an annual exercise to recruit new members.
Acting as a reviewer of research proposals or member of prioritisation panels. Our college of reviewers is integral to our peer review process.
- Strategic partnerships
Formal arrangements between EPSRC and a collaborating organisation with intent to co-fund or support mutually beneficial activities. Activities funded might include research proposals, collaborative training or research chairs.
