NOISEmakers

New Outlooks in Science and Engineering

Explained…

NOISEmakers? What kind of a word is that? It’s a word we invented to describe a bunch of people in all kinds of scientific and engineering jobs across the country. They’re happy to talk about what they do for a living and how they got into it, so other people taking exams and going to university have an idea of some of the options open to them.

And before you ask, NOISE stands for New Outlooks In Science and Engineering.

In this section, you’ll find out more about each of the NOISEmakers, what they do and what they like. This year you might read about them, see or hear them in the media or at events across the country. They’re all over the place - making a noise, you might say.
