EPSRC Annual Report and Accounts 2010-2011

The EPSRC Annual Report and Accounts for 2010-11 provides highlights for the year 2010/11 and outlines some of our key achievements during the 2008-11 Delivery Plan period.

EPSRC has achieved much over the past three years and we believe this success will mean we are well placed to meet the ambitious agenda in our Delivery Plan for 2011-15.

EPSRC is fortunate to be working with some of the most creative minds on the planet whose vision and aspirations know no frontiers. This is reassuring because the global challenges facing the UK: an ageing population; the need for low-carbon energy alternatives; global security threats; the impact of climate change; the need for new sustainable manufacturing technologies, all need addressing urgently with innovative thought. That is why this year we invested over £800 million in pioneering research and training.
