Leadership Fellowships provide support for talented researchers with the most potential to develop into the UK’s international research leaders. Up to five years funding is available, and there is an annual call for proposals. Leadership Fellowships are offered across the whole of the EPSRC remit.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Leadership Fellowship scheme you must currently hold a permanent academic post at an eligible host organisation.
A permanent academic post should include lecturing and administrative responsibilities alongside research, and should not be dependent on research income but funded from general university funds; it should also be for an indefinite period, but may be terminated on notice.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who wish to re-establish themselves after a career break or other period of absence from active research.
You must not currently hold an RCUK Academic Fellowship.
